What customers say?

“ Superb. The service was especially good. Very rare for Spanish establishments of this type to have enough waiting staff. ”

- Thomas Mayers -

“ A pleasant and quiet place. We ordered some croquettes, which were a bit pricey and could have been much better, a delicious escalivada with burrata accompanied by rustic bread with olive oil that was to die for, a very well-made caldero (a traditional Asturian stew), with the rice cooked just right, and we tried the torrija (Spanish-style French toast) for dessert, which was a great choice. The price was generally in line with expectations, and although the staff was very attentive, none of us at the table thought it was appropriate to serve the caldero to the women first. It would have been better to serve them in order... Serving the women before the men... Come on, it's 2023, that kind of classism is out of place. Nevertheless, a highly recommended place. ”

“ The food is spectacular, both the starters and the rice dishes (we had caldero and a banda) are delicious. You can clearly see the great work that goes into this menu, just like at Alkimia. The place is very cool and very well-equipped. Special mention to the impeccable service of the staff; the treatment is 10/10, and it's very much appreciated. First, Alkimia and now Origen are among our Top 10 in Murcia. We'll be back!! ”

“ First of all, the menu has nothing to do with the Alkimia in Alcantarilla, which we didn't know about, and we were quite surprised... Even so, everything we ate was very good. The menu was concise, all local produce. The tomato with tuna, the croquettes, and the turbot are particularly noteworthy. The country bread is also very good. The squid was quite tough and the pen was overcooked (they didn't ask us about the point). The service was good, and the place was very nice, very cool. ”

“ Going to Origen is always a good choice. From the moment you walk through the door, they make you feel welcome. The staff's professionalism and friendliness are incredible, and the food is delicious. The desserts are on another level. Looking forward to returning. ”

“ I really liked how comfortable and cozy the place is. The service was very friendly, and the food was great. They have an area where you can bring in a DJ or even a band if you want to organize something big. There's plenty of parking and plenty of lighting. Everything is very clean. Recommended. ”

“ Although it's not expensive, the overall price/quality ratio is a bit low; in the end, it's a set menu. The fried egg with the garlic shrimp was overcooked, although we mentioned it to the waitress, and she thanked us kindly. The other starters were fine. I'd like to highlight the "arroz de chato" (flat rice), which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Perhaps a waiter was missing at the time the restaurant was packed, but we didn't have to wait too long. Still, I'll return to try another of their rice dishes, which was my favorite. By the way, the beer was ice-cold, just the way I like it. Recommended. ”

“ Alkimia is an excellent choice. We had a wonderful meal, from the starters (try the "matrimonio" and the cockles) to the grilled sole and the rice. The service was very friendly and professional. They gave us excellent wine recommendations. We will definitely be back. ”
